Trade shows remain the highest-information-density occasions in packaging printing. The 2026 calendar shows two features: a spring cluster in China centred on Guangzhou, and the Middle East as an emerging growth pole. The 32nd South China International Printing Industry Exhibition and the 2026 China International Label Printing Technology Exhibition were held 4–6 March 2026 at the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou, alongside Sino-Pack 2026 and PACKINNO 2026.
In China: the South China printing and label shows (4–6 March, Guangzhou); the 2nd Northern Printing & Packaging Equipment Expo (12–15 March, Langfang); the 2026 LOUPE South China International Label & Packaging Printing Exhibition, listing digital and hybrid printing technology, innovative label materials and adhesives, smart finishing and die-cutting, flexible packaging frontiers, RFID smart-label processing and sustainable solutions among its core directions; and interpack China 2026, built around green transition, smart production and export compliance with a paper-based compostable packaging zone.
Overseas: Gulf Print & Pack in Dubai (31 March – 2 April). Packaging demand in Turkey and Saudi Arabia is expected to grow 5–6% annually as local manufacturers accelerate automation and green retrofits — the show is the shortest path to that region's purchasing decision-makers.
Checklist 1, your order-mix profile: batch-size distribution, substrate types and version-change frequency over the past 12 months. Without this data, no recommendation at a show can be judged for fit.
Checklist 2, real proof samples: do not watch machines run empty. Bring your usual film, nonwoven or paper and request on-site proofing or an agreed pre-shipment proof, observing registration stability and colour consistency at real production speed.
Checklist 3, energy and consumable basis: at the same nominal speed, drying-energy differences, anilox and plate-cylinder life, and water-based versus solvent ink cost differences form the true per-unit cost — ask for them itemised in the quotation.
Checklist 4, service radius and spares: installation and commissioning cycle, training arrangements, wear-part kit contents and supply lead time; overseas buyers especially need confirmed remote-guidance capability.
Checklist 5, compliance documentation capability: understanding PPWR for EU exports, confirming inks meet GB 4806.14-2023 for food-contact packaging, and complete CE and technical files for the machine itself.
